Mushroom Toasts



Mushroom toasts that taste great with a hint of oregano and a lot of Parmesan cheese. Great for a quick snack or starter!

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 200C 390F

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat

Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant

Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown

Season mushrooms with salt, pepper, and dried oregano

Place bread slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil

Top each bread slice with the cooked mushrooms

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the mushrooms

Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted and golden brown

Serve hot and enjoy!
